Why should I have a consultation with my photographer?
While they are not required, consultations are helpful for you and me as your photographer to help dream up your portrait session. Here are some reasons why its important, helpful, and exciting for you to schedule your consultation with me:
#1)So you know exactly what to expect. This will help take away any stress that can come along with your portrait session.
#2) So I have the opportunity to hear what your vision is! I want to do everything I can to cater to your wants, needs, and dreams!
#3) Its a time to be excited and dream up your session together! Talk about bringing your pets, what accessories to bring, and which locations you are excited about!

#5) This is my chance to get to know you, and for you to get to know me! Your consultation should be a fun stress relieving time!
What makes Senior pictures so special?
This is the time of year that some high school and college seniors start asking themselves if they want to have their senior photos done. A lot of the time, family is our motivation to get our pictures taken to capture and celebrate our life milestones. While our families are a great reason, as a photographer, I like to find a personal motive that'll create a storyline to further celebrate your life milestones. Here are some things to think about while dreaming up your senior session:
Who are you? What are your hobbies? How would you describe your personality, lifestyle, and culture? These are the things that make you stand out as an individual! I love using these to help dream up your portrait session. Your portrait session is your time to shine, your time to feel special, and its your 15 minutes of fame! Your portrait session should be a reflection of you!
At the end of your senior session, I hope you leave feeling proud of who you are and what you've accomplished. I hope you can leave inspired, ready to take on your journey ahead.
Should I bring my pet along on my portrait session?
Absolutely! More fuzz equals more fun! Furry friends are always welcome to come along on your portrait session! Here are a few things to think about if you want to bring your pet along for your session:
1- Bringing some water, treats and toys for your pet to engage with! Some other things to consider bringing, depending on your pet, are: A brush, poop bags, wipes, and a collar and leash.
2- If you can, exercise them before hand. All pets have different needs and energy levels, so for example: if you have a high energy pup I would consider playing with them or going for a walk before your session.
3- Lastly, be ready to be patient! I know bringing your pet along can sometimes add stress for some portrait sessions! I'm here to help! I'll do what I can to make it as easy and fun as possible!
Reasons why you should book a portrait session in NW Arkansas?
TREES TREES AND MORE TREES! Arkansas is called the natural state for a reason! The trees are beautiful all year round, even in the winter the evergreens are there for us to admire! If you've never been to Devils Den state park in Winslow Arkansas, it's home to one of the most beautiful overlooks of the Lee Creek Valley in the Boston Mountains. This is one of many spots to start dreaming up your next portrait session! Arkansas is also home to the beautiful Lincoln Lake and its trails(Pictured here). All this to say, you'll never get tired of the scenery that comes with the experience of North West Arkansas, which is why you should consider booking your next portrait session here!
Why you don't want Digital Photos:
What to wear to your session: Dos and Don'ts
First, wear what makes you feel confident! When you are confident your true inner beauty begins to shine!
Do: Wear fun accessories that compliment you and your outfit. For example, bringing a hat, cute jacket, or a fun pair of boots!
Don't: Wear clothes with loud, or heavy patterns, this also includes cloths with visible logos, brands, or cartoons.
Do: Bring Comfortable footwear.
Don't: Wear only baggy or loose clothing. Mix it up a little! Ex: Pair a chunky sweater with some cute leggings!
Do: Be yourself! Wear cloths that bring out your personality, and sense of style! Wear what you know you feel good and confident in!
Don't: Try something new. I would recommend not trying new hairstyles, makeup looks, or a new outfit/style you've never tried before.
